Kixx Expands Portfolio of Immersion Cooling Fluids

The launch of Kixx Immersion Fluid S in November 2023 was a milestone for the brand. By producing a fluid that cooled equipment more efficiently than traditional air-cooling systems, Kixx proved it could help data centers conserve energy while maintaining ideal temperatures and delivering more computing power.

Since then, Kixx has expanded its portfolio and there are four more fluids in the Kixx Immersion Fluid S product line — Kixx Immersion Fluid S 5, Kixx Immersion Fluid S 30, Kixx Immersion Fluid S E and Kixx Immersion Fluid S BIO. Each one is customized to suit a particular customer base with distinct needs and purposes. The new fluids can be used not only in data centers, but also in the electric vehicle (EV) battery and energy storage system (ESS) battery industries, as well as in other settings. In addition, the raw materials in all four products comply with the recommendations of the U.S. Open Compute Project (OCP) in its Base Specification for Immersion Fluids, a set of guidelines that deal with sustainability, safety and interoperability.

Kixx Immersion Fluid S BIO uses bio-based materials that absorb carbon dioxide during the plant growth process, allowing the fluid to be carbon-negative.
